Guide to WordPress Events in 2023

WordPress, the world’s most popular content management system, plays host to several WordCamp events around the globe each year. These events bring together developers, designers, bloggers, and other stakeholders in the WordPress community. In 2023, there are plenty of WordCamps scheduled worldwide that you will want to attend.

Starting off in Europe

WordCamp Netherlands starts the global trek on 7-8 September in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Immediately following, we head to Asia for WordCamp Kathmandu 2023 in Nepal and WordCamp Malaysia, both scheduled for 8-9 September.

Back in Europe, WordCamp Finland will take place from 14-15 September, followed by WordCamp Pontevedra in Spain on 16-17 September. Two days later, on 18 September, WordCamp Whitley Bay lights up the UK.

North America and Beyond

In late September, the action moves to North America with WordCamp Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada, on 23 September, followed by WordCamp Rochester, NY, on 30 September. On the same day, WordCamp Gdynia takes place in Poland for those staying in Europe.

October’s Full Slate

October is busy, starting with WordCamp Masaka 2023 in Uganda and WordCamp Biarritz in France on 6 October. WordCamp Bhopal 2023 follows in India on 7-8 October. Mid-October brings us WordCamp Taiwan, WordCamp Omaha 2023, and WordCamp Atlanta 2023, all on 14 October.

Germany hosts its own WordCamp from 19-21 October, with WordCamp Sevilla in Spain immediately after from 20-22 October. Japan and Poland host their WordCamps on 21 October, with WordCamp Tokyo 2023 and WordCamp Wrocław, respectively.

The month wraps up with WordCamp Tegal in Indonesia on 22 October, WordCamp Mumbai 2023 in India, and WordCamp Managua in Nicaragua, both on 28 October.

WordCamp Gdynia 2023 is an upcoming event scheduled to take place on September 30, 2023, in Gdynia, Poland. As a one-day conference, WordCamp Gdynia aims to bring together WordPress enthusiasts, including developers, designers, and bloggers, to share their expertise and experiences. The conference will cover various topics related to WordPress, such as SEO, e-commerce, internet law, and interface design. Attendees can expect to learn from esteemed speakers and participate in workshops and networking sessions. WordCamp Gdynia offers a valuable opportunity for WordPress enthusiasts in Poland to connect, collaborate, and stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the WordPress community.

November and December

November starts strong with WordCamp San José in Costa Rica and WordCamp Madrid in Spain from 4-5 November. WordCamp Montreal in Quebec, Canada, offers a unique online event from 8-9 November. The month concludes with WordCamp Valencia in Spain from 10-11 November and WordCamp Manila in the Philippines on 11 November.

The year ends with WordCamp Verona in Italy on 17-18 November and several planned WordCamps in Rome, Skopje, Quito, Lahore, and Ahmedabad.

Looking Ahead to 2024

The new year begins with WordCamp Nepal 2024 in Pokhara, Nepal, from 12-13 January. WordCamp Asia 2024, one of the year’s most significant events, takes place in Taipei, Taiwan, from 7-9 March.

There are also several WordCamps in the early planning stages, including WordCamp Europe in June 2024 and WordCamp Canada in 2024.
